About Land Conflict Watch
They are a data research agency which tracks disputes on natural resources to facilitate better decision-making on investments and governance. Their network of interdisciplinary researchers, spread across the country, collects data that answers questions about natural resource governance and its impact on investments, environment and people. They have built the country’s first and only database of ongoing land and resource conflicts. The research aims to facilitate decision-making that helps in resolving and minimising such conflicts. They are operated by Nut Graph LLP, an environmental research consultancy.
About the Position
Land Conflict Watch is looking for a Part-Time Legal Research Intern or a Full-Time Legal Research Fellow to join their multidisciplinary team for the month of July. The research will primarily be based on land rights, forest governance and environmental law.

Final year LL.B. students (for the internship) or LL.B graduates (for the fellowship)
Remuneration
INR 8,000 (part-time internship) or INR 20,000 (full-time fellowship)
