About the Internship:
Chamber of Senior Advocate Pijush K. Roy is looking to hire 2 interns for the months of February-April, 2024. The Chamber is largely involved in all types of civil, criminal, corporate, constitutional and pro-bono matters before the Supreme Court of India and High Courts across the country.
Requirements/Eligibility:
- The law student should be in 4th-5th year of law school in case of an integrated degree or in the 3rd year in case of three year law degree;
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate past experience in dealing with litigation related works and assignments relating to the Supreme Court in their CV. Academics will also be given equal weightage while evaluating the CV;
- Is hungry for knowledge and has a passion to learn more about the nuances of litigation at the Apex Court;
- Has prior experience of working with judicial offices and/or chambers of senior advocates at the Supreme Court and/or the High Courts;
About the Work of the Intern:
The tasks entail, but are not limited to drafting, researching, extensive reading, briefing and assisting in various other nuances of the chamber. The internship will be in offline mode.
