Umbrella Legal is a new age law firm offering boutique experience in delivering excellent results to its clients in the areas of Intellectual Property Laws, Technology Law, Commercial Law and Policy Sector. The firm is focused to provide swift and one stop solution to any and all legal requirements including Legal Document Drafting, Reviewing and Docketing, Creating Legal Frameworks for Handling matters and Supporting the In-house Legal counsels and Teams.
Umbrella Legal is an Indian law firm founded by Kalpana Garg, in the year 2022, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur (Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law). Prior to establishing her law firm, Kalpana has worked with Legal and IP departments of biggest public listed companies in India for almost a decade and brings illustrious experience of a corporate counsel with working understanding of business. In addition, she is a patent agent having extensive experience of Drafting and Prosecution of Patents, Industrial Designs, Copyright and Trademarks with Indian and Foreign Intellectual Property Offices. She has also been involved in advising Startups, Production Houses, Actors, Entrepreneurs and Businesses on various legal issues which has contributed to strengthening her overall legal and IP expertise.
About the Internship:
They are opening positions for internships in our office for the month of November (online) and December 2023 (offline-non virtual only).
– 1 legal internship slot for each month
– Applicable for law students.
– Location for offline internship-Mumbai
– No stipend.
Roles of the Intern:
- Drafting and vetting of Agreements
- Researching on legal matters and drafting opinions
- Writing articles
- Assisting in IP matters
Months of Internship:
- November, 2023 – Virtual
- December, 2023 – Physical/Offline
