About Foundation for Democratic Reforms:
FDR is India’s leading think-tank and research-resource center, headed by Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, former IAS and Member of National Advisory Council and 2nd Administrative Reforms Commission.
FDR was established in 1996 and is based in Hyderabad. For the last 15 years, FDR is actively engaged in informed advocacy of comprehensive electoral reforms, strengthening citizen-centered governance and public policy, empowerment of local governments, judicial and police reforms and instruments of transparency and accountability.
