About the Seminar and Call for Papers

The international and domestic legal framework around
sports is constantly evolving and shaping. To grasp the
ever-changing dynamics between the various stakeholders
in the sporting industry, it is important to understand the perspectives of each one of them through a nuanced discourse that addresses the diverse issues concerning
them.
Research papers are solicited from academicians,
researchers, research scholars, legal practitioners, and students. Selected papers will be considered for publication in an edited book with an ISBN number.
However, submission and presentation of a paper do not
guarantee publication, and the editorial board’s decision
regarding suitability for publication is final. Participants
must present their papers (along with a PowerPoint
presentation) during the seminar, either online or offline, at
the scenic MNLUA campus on June 28th and 29th, 2024.

  • GOVERNMENTAL INTERFERENCE IN NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL SPORTS FEDERATIONS.

  • VICTIMOLOGICAL STUDIES IN SPORTS.
  • SAFEGUARDING OF ATHLETES THROUGH INSTITUTIONAL MECHANISMS.
  • E-SPORTS & GAMBLING.
  • SPORTS RELATED DISPUTES AND ARBITRATION.
  • SPORTS AND TECHNOLOGY.

Submission Guidelines

  • Participants are requested to submit an abstract ranging from 300 to 350 words. The abstract must include the name(s) of the author(s), email address(es), contact number(s), and designation(s). The full paper should not exceed 6000 words, inclusive of citations. There is a limitation to submit only one abstract /author. The abstract should clearly identify and mention the “ theme” under which it has been submitted.

Submission Instructions

Abstracts and full-length papers, both in .docx format, are to be emailed to [email protected]. When submitting the final file, please name it after the author.

Awards

  • Best Research Paper: Cash Prize of ₹10,000/- & Certificate of Merit.
  • Second Best Research Paper: Cash Prize of ₹8,500/- & Certificate of Merit.
  • Third Best Research Paper: Cash Prize of ₹6,500/- & Certificate of Merit.
  • Participants shall be given Certificate of Appriciation.

Tantative Schedule

  • Last date for Registration and Submission of the Abstract: 30th May 2024
  • Last date for Full Paper Submission (soft copy): 20th June 2024
  • Date of Seminar : 28th & 29 June 2024

Accommodation

The University shall facilitate the boarding and lodging at reasonable charges.

Registration will be considered complete upon successful
payment of the fee. All payments must be processed through the provided registration link following the submission of the abstract.

  • Category -2 : Professionals and Academican-: ₹2000 (A maximum of 2 authors are permitted per paper)
