Internship Overview
CBI is inviting applications from law students enrolled in reputed law universities/institutes for 30 internship positions to be posted at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Bangalore. This internship aims to provide legal exposure and practical understanding of CBI’s investigative and prosecution functions.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Indian citizens.
- Be enrolled in a reputed law institute/university in India.
- For 5-year LLB course: must have completed or be in 8th semester or above.
- For 3-year LLB course: must have completed or be in 4th semester or above.
Internship Duties
Selected interns will:
- Assist CBI law officers in legal research, court documentation, and pairvi work.
- Be exposed to real-time prosecution work including examination of witnesses, data collection, and drafting court applications.
- Must sign an “Oath of Secrecy”, binding them to confidentiality during and after the internship.
Conditions of Internship
- This internship is unpaid and interns must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
- It does not guarantee future employment in CBI.
