Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Legal stream must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
- Minimum marks:
- 60% for General/OBC candidates.
- 55% for SC/ST candidates.
- Desirable: LL.M. degree, experience in civil law, or cyber law.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years (as of 1st November 2024).
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates must have basic computer proficiency.
Selection Process
The selection process for Assistant Manager (Legal) comprises:
- Online Written Examination:
- Part A: Technical and Professional Knowledge Test (Legal) – 40 marks
- Part B:
- Reasoning – 20 marks
- English Language – 25 marks
- General Awareness – 20 marks
- Numerical Ability and Computer Literacy – 15 marks
- Part C: Descriptive English Test (Essay, Precis, and Comprehension) – 30 marks
- Total Marks: 150
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- 60% for General/OBC candidates
- 50% for SC/ST candidates
- Group Discussion and Interview:
- Marks: 20 for GD, 30 for Interview
- Candidates must clear each stage individually to be considered for the final merit list.
