About
Deepti is a Corporate Lawyer and Company Secretary, working for more than 13 plus years in Corporate Laws.
She focuses on advising, assisting, representing well renowned Indian, multi-national companies in a wide range of Company law matters, due-diligence, Investment advisory, employment laws, contract laws, foreign-exchange laws, CSR etc.
She acts as a Legal Advisor on matters pertaining to FEMA, FIFB/FIFP approvals, FDI, Outbound investment, ECB, compounding matters before RBI etc.
She is passionate to represent clients before NCLT- restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions (M & A), IBC, etc. She supports organisations in due-diligence, preparing the entities for acquisitions, funding. She is keen on POSH-Prevention of Sexual Harassment. Therefore delivers sessions, provides advisory and is a part as an External Member of the Internal Committee of various multi- national organizations PAN India basis. Deepti’s clientele also includes SEBI matters relating to representations. Deepti has authored various articles, opinion on Corporate law, contract law, employment laws and have bagged awards on the same. She has been a visiting Faculty at ILS Law College, Pune for Corporate Laws. She is an Industry Expert Committee Member for Corporate Laws for MES Garware College of Commerce. She is frequently invited as a Speaker/Guest Lecturer by multinational companies for speaking on Company Law, Contract Law, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Law (POSH) and institutions like ICSI, ICAI, Nirma University, KTHM Nashik, St. Miras’s College etc. She has contributed in the editing and updating- Dr. K.R. Chandratre’s “Company Secretarial Practice Manual Book-2” and “Compendium of Key issues under Corporate Laws- 3, 4, 5”, which are the best sellers in the Corporate arena.
Areas of work
Interested candidates can get exposure to research and work in company law, contract law, FEMA, Securities law and POSH law.
Duration
For a minimum period of 6 months.
Note: Interns considering internship for one/two month please do not apply.
Preference
Law students who are pursuing CS or who has completed CS will be preferred.
