Agama Law Associates (ALA) is a boutique commercial law practice based in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The firm offers end-to-end solutions to businesses, corporates, and individuals. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate/Senior Associate at Agama Law Associates in Mumbai Metropolitan Region. As an Associate/Senior Associate in the General Corporate Team, you will be responsible for working on transactions (M&A) or other similar projects along with contract negotiation and drafting for key clients, managing client relationships, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice on various contractual and regulatory matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University in India
- Minimum of 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Sound knowledge of Contract law, Corporate law, and other Commercial laws
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on a variety of matters
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution matters is a plus
