Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.), including Integrated Law Degree Courses, recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
- Candidates studying in the final year of their 3-year or 5-year law course can also apply, provided they obtain their degree before the assignment begins.
- Skills Required:
- Research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in drafting and writing.
- Knowledge of legal databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 32 years (as of 7th February 2025).
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in three phases:
- Part I – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Focus on legal knowledge, comprehension, and the ability to apply the law.
- Part II – Subjective Written Examination
- Assessment of analytical and writing skills.
- Part III – Interview
- Shortlisted candidates from the written examination will be called for an interview.
Examination Format:
- Part I and II will be conducted on the same day in two sessions. Part I will be online, while Part II will require candidates to write answers in pen-paper mode.
Examination Centres:
- The examination will be conducted across 23 cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
