These consultants will assist in research and documentation supporting the Commission’s legislative work and reform initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law – LL.B./B.A. LL.B./B.Sc. LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Good research and legal writing skills in English.
- Proficiency in document preparation, PPTs, and data handling.
Desirable Qualifications
- LL.M. degree, published research papers, and prior experience in legal research or policy advisory roles will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Must not be more than 32 years as of the last date of submission.
- A fitness certificate of good health from a recognized medical authority is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Undertaking research and documentation related to legal issues and reforms.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports, reference notes, and project-related materials.
- Handling assignments related to the terms of reference of the Law Commission.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Law Commission.
Terms of Engagement
- Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance.
- Termination: One-month notice by either side.
- Leave Entitlement: 8 casual leaves and 2 restricted holidays per year (no encashment).
- No other benefits like PF, gratuity, or HRA will be applicable.
- Engagement is full-time; no other professional assignments allowed during tenure.
