About National Forensic Sciences University
The National Forensic Sciences University, with the status of an Institution of National Importance, is the world’s first and only University dedicated to forensic, behavioural, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and allied sciences. It was established by the Parliament of India through Act 32 of 2020 with the objective of training and creating forensic experts for the country and the world.
About School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies
School of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies is established with the aim of imparting professional education with a special focus of forensic application in all allied areas of law and policy framework. The school aspires to be the leading provider of forensic justice and techno-legal understanding to all professionals from different areas of governance including justice administration. Through forensic lenses it focuses on crime prevention, crime reduction, crime mapping, speedy and fair dispensation of justice, thereby contributing to the overall welfare of people. The school ultimately envisions to produce sound techno-legal experts who can contribute in all areas of governance.
About the event
- It is a privilege and pride to announce that SLFJPS, NFSU is organizing the LawFest – “Nyaya Abhyuday” from 28-30th March 2025 at National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar Campus, Gujarat in Physical Mode.
- The LawFest comprises of two competitions – 3rd NFSU National Technological Moot Court Competition and 1st NFSU National Trial Advocacy Competition.
- An institution may send multiple teams in both the competitions.
- Competition Date: March 28 to 30, 2025
- Location: National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar
Eligibility
Any student pursuing law from a recognized institution.
Important Dates
- Last date to register – March 15, 2025, 11:59 PM.
- Last date to seek clarifications – February 25, 2025.
- Release of clarifications – February 28, 2025.
- Last date to submit memorials for 3rd NFSU National Technological Moot Court Competition – March 22, 2025.
- Last date to submit memorials for the 1st NFSU National Trial Advocacy Competition – March 26, 2025.
- Competition Dates – March 28 -30, 2025.
Registration Fee
Registration fees: INR 3000/- for each of the competitions.
Prizes
- Prizes worth INR 1.25 lakhs to the winners of the 3rd NFSU National Technological Moot Court Competition, 2025.
- Prizes worth INR 70,000/- to the winners of the 1st NFSU National Trial Advocacy Competition, 2025.
- Certification of Participation shall be presented to all the participating teams.
