About the Book
In the background of the complex social needs in India, thoughtful discourse on the newly enacted laws can aid public understanding. We aim to critically analyse the rationale, provisions, implementation, and effects of these statutes. Potential topics may include, but are not limited to, the statute’s constitutionality, impact on the public, police and judiciary, investigation, relevancy and admissibility of evidence, recent developments, etc.. Further, in order to promote research in the field of Law and keeping in line with the recent developments in the areas of criminal laws, it has ecome necessary to understand the nuances of the recently enacted laws. We, therefore, propose to come out with three volumes:
- Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023: Contemporary Issues & Challenges
- Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita 2023: Contemporary Issues & Challenges
- Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023: Contemporary Issues & Challenges
Papers relating to the subject of each volume shall be published in the relevant volume.
