About the Collective

The Collective for Human Rights Advocacy (CHRA), under the aegis of the Centre for Human Rights and Subaltern Studies at National Law University Delhi, aspires to undertake and promote interdisciplinary socio-legal research under the theme of human rights law. In furtherance of our aim, the CHRA blog seeks to initiate academic discourse and promote dialogue on contemporary issues concerning human rights law both nationally and internationally. By generating scholarship on contemporary events that violate human rights, the Collective aspires to involve a diversity of stakeholders, and consequently, assist and advise policy makers, legislators and other governmental agencies on matters relating to human rights. The Collective has contributed to the legal discourse surrounding human rights and has furthered original research which can be found here and here
