About the Organization
The National Legal Rights Consortium (NLRC) is a part of the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), a premier National Business Chamber for Women envisioning global impact for women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, and professionals from diverse walks of life. Representing a wide variety of sectors of industry, economy, and society, WICCI actively engages the voices of thousands of women entrepreneurs and professionals.
The Tamil Nadu Legal Rights Consortium (TNLRC) functions under the aegis of NLRC-WICCI. It brings together women law students, professionals, and advocates across Tamil Nadu with the vision of strengthening awareness, advocacy, and action around legal rights. TNLRC serves as a state-level platform to nurture young legal minds, promote leadership, and empower women to take an active role in advancing justice and equality.

We are inviting submissions for our upcoming blog series on the theme:
Theme: Environmental and Climate Change – Legal Perspectives and Challenges
Suggested Sub-Themes:
- Constitutional and human rights dimensions of the environment
- Role of judiciary and judicial activism in environmental protection
- Effectiveness of environmental legislations in India (EPA, Air Act, Water Act, etc.)
- Corporate accountability, ESG, and sustainability challenges
- India’s international obligations on climate change (Paris Agreement, UNFCCC)
- Community rights, indigenous participation, and environmental justice
- Technology, innovation, and sustainability (renewable energy, AI, blockchain, etc.)
Eligibility
The blog submissions are open for Academicians, Students and Legal Practitioners.
Submission Guidelines
- Language: English only
- Word limit: 1,200–1,500 words
- Forms: Articles, opinions, and case comments
- Co-authorship: Maximum of two authors
- Citations: Bluebook 21st edition
- Formatting: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment. Endnotes – Times New Roman, 10- point font, 1.0 spacing, left alignment.
- References: Hyperlinks preferred; endnotes may be used where necessary
- The body of the submission should not mention the author’s name or institution
- Submissions are to be made in MS word through the provided form.
Author Agreement
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism
- Manuscripts with high AI similarity will be rejected
- Authors must not submit elsewhere while the review is ongoing
- Copyright will vest with the blog once published, but moral rights remain with the author(s)
How to Submit?
- Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the Google Form provided below the post.
- Authors will ordinarily receive a decision within two weeks of submission
