Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a government-recognized university.
Experience Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as an Officer or similar position in the Legal/Recovery Department of a reputed Co-op Bank, Nationalized Bank, NBFC, or similar institution.
Age Limit:
- Preferably below 45 years (relaxation may be given in deserving cases).
Key Responsibilities
- Verification of Title Deeds & Legal Documents: Assessing security documents for immovable property offered as collateral.
- Drafting & Vetting Legal Agreements: Preparing loan agreements, indemnity bonds, general power of attorney documents, and lease/rental agreements.
- Providing Legal Opinions: Offering guidance on internal legal matters and regulatory compliance.
- Handling Legal Cases: Representing the bank before DRT, District Court, NCLT, DM/Police, and other relevant legal forums.
- Managing Advocates & Litigation: Monitoring advocate performance and handling lawsuits filed by or against the bank.
- Training & Advisory: Conducting legal training sessions for staff to improve compliance and risk management practices.
