Candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) categories identified for appointment in the Law discipline include: One Arm (OA), Spinal Deformity/Spinal Injury without any associated neurological/limb dysfunction [SD/SI (Without)], Spinal Deformity/Spinal Injury with associated neurological/limb dysfunction of One Arm [SD/SI (With)- OA], Leprosy cured (LC), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV), and Muscular Dystrophy (MD).
Essential Eligibility Criteria for Law Discipline
To be considered for the Junior Manager (Law) post, candidates must satisfy the Minimum Essential Qualification and corresponding experience requirements as of the reckoning date (01/11/2025).
A. Educational Qualification and Experience (Law)
Candidates must possess one of the following combinations of qualification and experience:
- Graduate degree with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. OR
- LLB / 5 years’ integrated LLB with 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
B. Experience Specifics for Law Discipline
For the Law discipline, independent practice shall be considered as an experience. However, the applicant claiming experience through independent practice holds the onus to prove appearance before the Hon’ble Court of Law for the claimed period. The work experience must be in a full-time job on a regular basis, acquired after obtaining the prescribed minimum essential educational qualification. Experience acquired in training, consultancy, teaching, fellowship, internship, apprenticeship, or academic projects will not be considered as relevant experience.
C. Maximum Age Limit
The maximum age for the post of Junior Manager is 40 years as of the reckoning date (01/11/2025). Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PWD, and Ex-servicemen categories as per Government guidelines.
Compensation Package for Junior Manager (Law)
Selected candidates for the Junior Manager posts will receive a pay scale starting at the initial basic pay in the scale of Rs 30000-3%-120000/-.
Appointed candidates must execute a service agreement bond of ₹ 3 Lakhs (Rupees Three Lakhs) at the time of joining. They are required to serve the company for a minimum period of 3 years from the joining date.
Selection Process and Application Fee Details
A. Selection Methodology
The selection of candidates will be based on performance in the Written Test and is subject to mandatory verification of documents. The details concerning the Written Test, including the date and syllabus, will be communicated via the call letter.
The minimum qualifying marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT) for short-listing candidates for Document Verification are 30% for General (Unreserved) / OBC categories, and 20% for SC / ST / PwD categories.
The examination will be conducted online at various venues across India in different centers/cities, which include Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, among others.
B. Application Fee Structure
A non-refundable application processing fee is applicable:
- ₹500/- (Five Hundred Only) for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
- All other candidates, including PwBDs, are exempted from paying the fee.
The fee must be paid online using the Payment Gateway / NEFT On-line Transfer through HCL’s website only.
