Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi is organizing a National Seminar on “75 Years of the Indian Constitution: Reflecting on Democratic Ideals, Institutional Challenges, and the Road Ahead” on November 26, 2025, to mark the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
The seminar aims to bring together academicians, jurists, policymakers, legal professionals, and students to engage in critical discussions on the evolution, relevance, and challenges of Indian constitutionalism. It will explore themes such as democratic rights, institutional accountability, environmental justice, digital governance, and the impact of technology on constitutional values.
The event will feature an Inaugural Session, Plenary Panels, Technical Paper Presentations, and a Valedictory Session where key recommendations will be shared. Selected research papers will be considered for publication in an edited book with ISBN.
“The seminar provides an opportunity to celebrate the resilience of the Constitution while reflecting on emerging challenges in governance, rights, and justice,” said Prof. (Dr.) Syamala Kandadai, one of the Seminar Coordinators.
Abstracts (300 words) are invited by October 24, 2025, and full papers (3,000–5,000 words) by November 14, 2025.
