Lets Learn Law invites you in Launch of Report on “Securing the Digital Frontier: A Report on Cyber Crime & Global Best Practices” on 31st May, 2025!

About the Organization

Lets Learn Law (LLL) is a startup dedicated to delivering online legal education and hands-on training for law students and legal professionals. Our mission is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical training by bringing together the theoretical and practical sides of law. At LLL, we aim to empower our students to become confident, skilled, and industry-ready professionals, equipped with expertise to excel in their careers.

Importance

We live in a time where almost everything happens online—but with that convenience comes risk. From online banking to personal data sharing, cybercriminals are constantly finding new ways to exploit digital spaces. Cybercrime has emerged as one of the fastest-growing global threats, with cybercriminals deploying increasingly sophisticated tactics and causing financial fraud, data breaches, AI-generated scams and identity theft—targeting individuals, businesses, and governments alike.

Globally, the number of cybercrime complaints rose from 791,000 in 2020 to over 880,000 in 2023 as per source. The financial impact also grew sharply—from $4.2 billion in 2020 to $12.5 billion in 2023.  New-age scams are becoming harder to detect and are deeply affecting the regular public and companies at large.

However, staying informed, and aware can help us stay protected. Once, the stakeholders understand the cybercrime trends, they can take the right steps to stay safe and help others do the same.
