The Indian Army invites applications from unmarried male and female law graduates for the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme 35th Course starting October 2025. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Citizen of India or certain categories of individuals as specified in the official notification.
- Age Limit: 21 to 27 years as of 1st July 2025 (born between 2nd July 1998 and 1st July 2004, both inclusive).
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LL.B. (3 years after graduation or 5 years after 10+2).
- Mandatory CLAT PG 2024 Score.
- Eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State.

Tenure of Engagement
- Initial: 10 years
- Extension: Up to 14 years

- Training Academy: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
- Duration: 49 weeks starting October 2025.
- Stipend: ₹56,100/month during training.

- Lieutenant upon successful commissioning.
Selection Process

- Shortlisting: Based on CLAT PG 2024 scores.
- SSB Interview: Duration: 5 days at Selection Centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bangalore, or Jalandhar.

- Merit List: Final selection is based on SSB scores and available vacancies.
