About the Position
This position will be instrumental in advising on the structuring, formation, and management of various investment funds. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the financial markets and applicable regulatory environments, with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.
Qualifications
- A law degree from a reputable law school
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant legal experience in investment fund management, with a law firm or in-house at a financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents related to the formation and operation of investment funds.
- Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and tax implications of fund structures and investment strategies.
- Work closely with fund managers to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on fund marketing materials and investor communications to ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and expert advice.
