About CLC, University of Delhi
Campus Law Centre fondly known as CLC is one of the premier legal education centers of the country. It was established in 1922, under the aegis of the University of Delhi in its foundation year. In 1975, the day classes of LL.B. of the Faculty of Law were rechristened as Campus Law Centre.
The Campus Law Centre or CLC, known for its great achievements, has the distinction of being one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions, which continues to preserve its 100 years of rich heritage and legacy of yielding profound lawyers, academicians, Union Cabinet Ministers, Chief Justices, and judges.
About the Journal
Journal of the Campus Law Centre (JCLC) (ISSN: 2321-4716) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, India. It provides a platform to publish high-quality legal research.
They invite original and previously unpublished articles, notes and comments, ‘judicial trends’, ‘legislative trends’, and book reviews from academicians, judges, lawyers, and research scholars on any contemporary legal and socio-legal issue for Volume XI (2024).
The contributors must not submit their manuscript elsewhere while it is under consideration at the JCLC. Further, the contributors must ensure that their submission is their own original work and not plagiarized, and any submission found to be plagiarized shall be summarily rejected.

Any contemporary legal and socio-legal issue.
Submission Guidelines
- The articles should consist of 5,000 – 10,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. Each article must be accompanied by an abstract (maximum 250 words), and five keywords separated by semicolons.
- Comments and notes should consist of 4,000 – 6,000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
- Submissions titled as ‘Judicial Trends’, and ‘Legislative Trends’ should consist of 3,000 – 5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes. ‘Legislative Trends’ and ‘Judicial Trends’ must contain a descriptive account of the salient legislative developments and important judicial pronouncements in India in the year 2023 respectively.
- Book reviews should consist of 1,000 – 2000 words, inclusive of footnotes.
- Font – Times New Roman; Size 12 for Text, 10 for Footnotes.
- Line spacing – 1.5 for text and single for footnotes.
- Microsoft Word Document Format.
- Authors are required to upload a separate cover page containing the following information:
- Authors’ brief description including Title, Name, University/Organization,
- Educational qualification, Professional Status; and Acknowledgements (if any) in not more than 300 words.
- The submission document should not contain any reference to the identity of the author(s) to enable anonymous peer review.
- For citation and references, “Indian Law Institute, Rules of Footnoting” should be strictly and consistently followed.

How to Submit?
Authors are requested to submit their work through the dedicated submission portal for this issue (Vol. XI) using the Google Form link available at the end of the post by April 15, 2024. The submission portal requires a separate upload of the submission document without identifiable information and the cover page.
