People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, India focuses primarily on the areas in which the greatest numbers of animals suffer the most: in the food and leather industries, in laboratories and in the entertainment industry. About The Role:
Passionate about working for animal rights and animal law enforcement full time.
Qualifications:
-Basic knowledge of animal protection laws of India.
-Worked with police, forest and other government officials at district/state level.
-Experience of getting FIRs/ PORs registered with police and forest dept respectively.
-Basic understanding of functioning of government depts and hierarchy as is relevant for cruelty response.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Fluency in English & Hindi, other regional languages a plus.
