5 Hour Negotiation & Mediation Training Program by MNLU Mumbai

Centre for Mediation and Research (CMR), Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) in collaboration with Mohit Mokal Mediation is offering a “5 HR NEGOTIATION & MEDIATION TRAINING PROGRAM”.

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act VI of 2014 is one of the premier National Law Universities in India. The Act envisaged establishing National Law University in Maharashtra to impart advanced legal education and promote society-oriented research in legal studies for the advancement of the social life of the people in the country. The prime goal of the University is to disseminate advanced knowledge of the law and allied subjects and promote the spirit of law amongst the students and to impart them the skills of advocacy, legal services, law reforms, managerial skills, and make them capable of utilizing their skills and knowledge for social transformation, development, and nation building. MNLU Mumbai believes in the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution viz. The University offers BA., LL.B.(Hons.) & B.B. A., LL.B.(Hons.) five years of integrated programs, and one year LL.M. program in Corporate and Commercial Laws, Constitutional & Administrative Law, Maritime Law, LL.M. (Investment and Securities Laws) in association with National Institute of Security Management(NISM), M.A. Mediation and Conflict Resolution for Executives , Ph.D. Program, PG Diplomas and is planning to add more programs from the academic year 2024-26. The Program structure and curriculum of the University are framed by a team of dedicated and committed teachers with guidance from industry experts and academia. Hon’ble Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Judge, Supreme Court of India is the Chancellor of the University who not only guides but also inspires the institution with his novel ideas and rich experience in the field of law. Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Ukey, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University and an eminent scholar in the field of law is guiding and leading the University to achieve newer heights. Dr. Parveen Sayyed serving as Registrar (I/C) of the University, with her dynamic vision coupled with excellent administrative skills is enabling the university to make newer strides in its journey towards academic excellence.

About Mohit Mokal Mediation

Mr. Mohit Mokal is a certified mediator from IMI, SIMI, CMC, ADR ODR UK as a mediator. He has trained and mentored over 1000 students, participated in over 70 mediation & negotiation competitions in the capacity of either a participant, coach, judge or organiser. He is committed to the capacity building of students and young professionals alike in the field of dispute resolution.

About the Program

The program is designed to give the participants in depth knowledge about negotiation and mediation principles and offers real life experience through simulations and role plays. Each student is given individual feedback by our expert trainer on completion of exercise.
