About the Job
Seeking experienced Legal /Technical Policy Manager to join their dynamic Business Banking Asset team at Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and update Legal policies relating to lending, Property mortgage, collateral, Stamp act to ensure compliance with national/state level property laws
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations, adapting policies accordingly.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, Technical, Valuers, credit, Policy, Ops to align policies with competition practices.
- Provide guidance on legal matters affecting policy development and implementation.
- Draft clear and concise policy documents on legal and valuation, Collateral acceptance, creating deviation matrix while also ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of policies and related legal documentation.
- Customizing requirements of all different states for legal documentation, institutionalisation and make branches aware and follow the same
- Tracking and curing discrepaies highlighted by legal audit
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar profile within the banking sector.
