ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Bangalore University is located in the garden city of Bangalore and was established in July 1964 as an offshoot of the University of Mysore and was one of the first few universities to be established in the whole state of Karnataka. The University is located in a sprawling 1100 acres of land and the campus is known as ‘Jnana Bharathi’.

University law college & dept. of Studies in law Bangalore University is organizing II virtual edition of Model United Nations (MUN) Conference.
COMMITTEES & AGENDAS- ULC MUN 2021
The following committees and agendas will be simulated:
1.United Nations General Assembly– Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC): Deliberating the Role of Private Military & Security Organizations with special reference to their autonomy.
2. United Nations Environment Programme – United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEP – UNEA): Deliberating upon the impact of Deep-Sea Trawling and the commercialization of Marine Life with special emphasis on Global Corruption.
3. All India Political Parties Meet: Deliberating on the requirement of a Refugee Law in India in light of the recent developments in the subcontinent.
4. International Press.
Eligibility to Participate:
All students pursuing an under-graduate degree/post-graduate degree in a government recognized educational institution are eligible to participate in the MUN conference.
Registration Fee:
There is no registration fee for participation.Prizes: Cash Prizes worth Rs. 25,000 and other perks to be awarded to the winners
Dates of the MUN: 8th, 9th & 10th October 2021
