Introduction
The University Grants Commission (UGC), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced new contractual vacancies for Domain Professionals, including five (05) positions for the Legal domain.

Eligibility Details for Domain Professional (Legal)
- Essential Qualification: LL.B. degree with at least 60 % marks from a UGC-recognized university.
- Desirable: Experience in practice before courts or as legal consultant to Government departments, regulatory bodies or universities.
- Experience: Minimum one year in a relevant field or similar position.
- Skills Preferred: Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in computer applications.
Contract & Tenure
- Engagement will be purely on a contract basis for one year, extendable by one additional year based on performance.
- The appointment does not confer any right for permanent employment with UGC.
- Engagement is on a full-time basis at UGC’s offices in Delhi.
