About the Advocate
Aishwarye is a specialist in Maritime (Commercial) Laws & Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms (Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation). As a Maritime Strategist, he specializes in the Law of Naval Warfare, the United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), the San Remo Manual, International Humanitarian Law (IHL), SUA Convention, Maritime Terrorism, Underwater Cables and Privately Armed Security Personnel (on-board ships), Floating Armories and has a deep understanding of the maritime security interests of India. As a Maritime Law Professional, he is empaneled as Member of the Board of Advisors of reputed Law Publications and Legal Startups to share his expertise in the domain of maritime law. As a Guest Faculty, he is involved with reputed Universities/Institutions to share his knowledge of Maritime Laws and thereby, enlighten the students about the ocean of opportunities that exist in the Maritime sector.
Eligibility
The candidates must be law students (UG or PG) or an individual acquainted with the shipping fraternity.
Skills
The ideal candidate(s) must have good research and drafting skills. She/he must be proficient in maritime legal concepts and have a penchant to learn about the practical aspects of the international shipping industry.
