About the Organization
The Moot Court Committee is the official student body for conducting and managing mooting activities at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
The Committee consists of Convenor, Co-convenor and members from five batches of the B.A.LL.B (Hons.) which functions under the supervision of the Faculty in-charge appointed by the Dean, Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia.
The Committee is dedicated to educate the students regarding the nuance of mooting, and provide a platform to students to inculcate and enhance advocacy skills. The Committee conducts training programs and workshops regularly, honing drafting and argumentation skills of nascent legal minds.
Apart from maintaining a strong internal mooting structure, the Committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the flagship Annul event, Jamia Millia National Moot Court Competition.
About the Competition
It is a matter of immense pleasure for us to inform you that the Moot Court Association, Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia is organizing the 9th Jamia National Moot Court Competition 2022, from 3rd to 5th June 2022.
Keeping up with the legacy of our previous editions, we are back with another edition this year, which revolves around the contemporary questions of law of extreme significance.
The winners would be awarded with cash prizes, along with trophies and certificate of merit and all the participants would be awarded with certificate of participation.
