This is a contractual assignment providing young law professionals an opportunity to work closely with the judiciary and enhance their expertise in company law and insolvency law.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in Law (LL.B.) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- Candidates should have obtained their law degree within the last two years or be final-year students in an Integrated 5-Year Law Program or the third year of a 3-Year Law Program.
- Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 30 years as of 25th January 2025.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in research and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Company Law, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC), and allied laws.
- Competency in using legal databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
- Disqualifications:
- Candidates engaged in other employment or honorarium-based roles.
- Those involved in criminal cases or facing disciplinary proceedings.
Duties and Responsibilities
The selected Law Research Associates will assist the Hon’ble Members of NCLT in:
- Preparing case summaries, chronology of events, and legal notes.
- Conducting legal research on statutes, case laws, and precedents.
- Assisting in drafting judgments, reviewing case files, and maintaining case records.
- Verifying citations, legal precedents, and drafting corrections in final judgments.
- Preparing research papers, academic articles, and assisting in conferences.
Selection Process
- Written Examination and Interview:
- Questions on Company Law, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and allied laws.
- Assessment of research skills and general knowledge.
- Shortlisting:
- In case of a large number of applications, shortlisting will be based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant parameters.
- Final Interview:
- Candidates must demonstrate legal knowledge, research aptitude, and analytical skills.
Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
