About the Company: The Indian Music Industry (IMI) is a trade body representing India’s Recorded Music Industry, responsible for promoting the economic interest and soft power of music labels registered in India. We are affiliated with the International Federation of Phonographic Industry (IFPI) which is the apex body of the global recording industry, and act as an advocate for the recorded music industry domestically and internationally. IMI is administered by a Board of Directors comprising a mix of owners & senior executives of major all record labels.
