About Vidhi Mitra
Vidhi Mitra, The Legal Aid Cell, Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur was established in the year 2018. Its aim is to make the legal system and justice more accessible to the general public and create awareness amongst the people about the contemporary legal issues and established rights of the people.

Submission Guidelines
Submission for publication in Vidhi Mitra Blog should be an original work of the
author and should have not been published previously or is currently submitted for
publication anywhere else.
The author will be responsible for the accuracy of statement of facts, opinions or
views stated in the submitted manuscript. In case of plagiarism found beyond 15% in
the contents of submitted manuscript, the manuscript will be rejected. The final
discretion as to the acceptance of the manuscripts rests with the Editorial Board of
Vidhi Mitra Blog.

Submission Requirements
- Word Limit- Articles: 2500-3500 words; Case Notes: 1000-2000 words; Book
Review: 1500-2500 words; Blog: 1000-1500 words. - All submissions should be typed in font Times New Roman with heading size
14, font size 12, line spacing 1.5′; justified. - Footnotes cited in the manuscript should be typed in font Times New Roman
with font size 10, line spacing 1′; justified. - Citations should be in the form of footnotes and endnotes. Text and Citations
must adhere to Bluebook 20th Edition. - The submissions should be made online in a MS Word format document to

Judgement- Explain how Judges reached their decision by analysing their use of
Precedents, Principles or Policies. Author must also identify Ratio Decidendi and
any Obiter Dicta
Impact- In this part, the Judgement must be evaluated and it’s Social and Legal
impact must be stated.
Book Review
Introduction
Thesis- Thesis includes brief description of the Main Body. Please avoid expressing
opinions at this stage.
Body- Express your opinions by analysing the work of the Writer of the Book.
