About CCV

CCV aims to contribute towards research and action in the field of Criminology and Victimology. The Centre promotes research, training, policy analysis and consultancy in these fields.

CCV engages in interdisciplinary research and learning strategies to identify the lacunae in our criminal justice and victim justice systems, systematically addressing the same. The Centre also provides ready consultancy to various governmental agencies by offering research-based solutions. CCV conducts training, research workshops and conferences especially in the areas of Criminal Justice, Victim Justice, and Victimology.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  • The participants are requested to submit an abstract of a maximum 300 words in the doc./docx. format, font style – (Italic) Times New Roman, font size – 12, line spacing – single.
  • Author(s) must refrain from revealing their identity in any form in the abstract.
  • The abstract must pertain to any of the sub-themes of the conference and must include a clear indication of the objectives, methodology, major results, and implications.
  • The submission of abstracts will be accepted via email at [email protected] till 15th August, 2024.
  • All abstracts will be subject to blind review and only those abstracts approved by the reviewers will be selected to submit their full paper for the final presentation.
  • The criteria for evaluation by the reviewers are based on Relevance, Methodology and Originality.
  • Authors whose abstracts are selected will be intimated of the same within 15 days after submission. i.e. by September 1, 2024.
  • Payment link will be shared separately if abstract is selected.

Abstract Acceptance Guidelines

  • It must be in English and must be clearly written and well organised.
  • The participants are requested to submit an abstract of a maximum 300 words in the doc./docx. format.
  • It shall contain:
    • The question and/or issues raised,
    • The methodology intended to be adopted,
    • Main points of presentation, and
    • The expected outcome and finding of the research.
  • Co-authorship is allowed subject to a maximum of 02 authors.
  • All such author and co-author(s) will have to mandatorily and separately register themselves by paying the requisite registration fees.
