About the Resource Person
Lokesh is law graduate from Nirma University and recently graduated from American University Washington College of Law where he was the recipient of Arcadia Fellowship and Arodhum Scholarship. Currently, he is pursuing PhD at Sciences Po Law School, Paris, working on the topic of “Genealogy of Copyrigh’s Balance Rhetoric” under the guidance of Prof. Severine Dosullier and Alain Pottage
Lokesh has a keen interest in Intellectual Property law, contract law, legal theory, legal history, technology, information/cultural regulation, open access/inclusion, freedom of expression, Critical Legal Studies, and jurisprudence. During LLM, he worked as a research assistant for PIJIP’s Arcadia project on the “Right to Research in International Copyright Law” under the guidance of Professor Sean Flynn and also worked as a research volunteer at the Knowledge Ecology International (KEI), Washington DC. He regularly writes on the issues of Intellectual Property, innovation, media and entertainment for SpicyIP and IPRMENTLAW, two leading IP blogs in India.
