About IMS Law College

IMS Law College, Noida which was established in 2004, is the first Law College in Gautam Buddha Nagar to have started B.A., LL.B. 5-year degree programme. In order to explore the various dimensions of English language and Literature, IMS Language and Literature club was constituted in 2019. Since then, it has been organizing various national and international webinars to benefit the research scholars and academicians apart from the students of literature.

About the programme

With an objective to make the participants gain familiarity with the emerging trends and developments taking place in the arbitration practice, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IMS Law College, Noida is organizing the international webinar. The webinar is expected to provide deep insights on the given topic.

Speakers’ Profile:

i. Margarita Drobyshevskaya

Case Counsel, Russian Arbitration Center at Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration

Margarita Drobyshevskaya is a Russian qualified lawyer, currently based in Moscow. Margarita is a case counsel at the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration. She has experience in both domestic and international commercial arbitration where she manages a significant number of arbitration proceedings as well as participates in organizing events or other projects currently undertaken by the institute.

Margarita graduated from the Higher School of Economics (LL.B) and the Russian School of Private Law (LL.M). She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Margarita is a co-chair of the Young IMA Moot Court Committee, a member of the Core Team of the Moot Alumni Association (MAA), and a coach of the Russian School of Private Law Vis Moot team.

ii. Anna Avdulova

Associate, Ivanyan & Partners

Anna Avdulova is a Russian qualified lawyer. She is an Associate at Ivanyan & Partners law firm, Moscow, and specializes in international arbitration and public international law. She has experience representing the respondent state in the UNCLOS arbitration and major investment treaty cases. She has also advised clients in relation to commercial arbitration proceedings and disputes in foreign jurisdictions.

Anna is also deeply involved in a moot court community. She is a coach of the Higher School of Economics Vis Moot team (Moscow). Together with the HSE coaches team, she has organized Vis Moot Summer School to help HSE students enhance their knowledge in private law.
