Job Description
- Skillfully draft and review a variety of legal agreements and contracts.
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- In-depth knowledge and experience of company law, FDI policy, due diligence);
- Assisting and handling contract breaches
- Assist on a broad variety of matters from complex matters to routine standard matters: Company Law, FEMA Laws, Data Protection laws.
- Knowledge and interest in broad areas of corporate and transactional matters, including disclosure and reporting, corporate governance, investments, and general awareness of the nuances of the start-up ecosystem.
- Coordinate with Legal Consultants for Legal Due Diligence, SSA and SHA.
Competencies Required
- Candidate should be a qualified lawyer [LLB/LLM] from a recognized university, CS would be an added advantage;
- 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or as in house legal counsel;
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion to opine on legal issues effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- A command over the language both from a legal and a colloquial perspective.
- Research, analysis, and interpretation of legal information relevant to the case.
