Inform the Insurance Company


The next step is to inform the Insurance Company about the mis-happening. Make sure that no delay is caused.

Keep the Documents Ready


Make sure that you have all the necessary documents such as vehicle registration certificate, copy of FIR, Insurance Policy, license, etc.

Inform the RTO Office


The policy holder then needs to intimate the local Regional Transport Office where the vehicle was registered.
