SEBI acts against 'Baap of Chart' and warns unregistered finfluencers

SEBI ACTS AGAINST ‘BAAP OF CHART’ AND WARNS UNREGISTERED FINFLUENCERS

Recently, SEBI ordered against Mohammad Nasir, a Hyderabad-based influencer popular by the name - ‘Baap of Chart’ for carrying out unregistered and fraudulent illegal advisory service.

Nasir has been banned from the securities market until further orders and ordered to deposit Rs 17.2 crore earned through the advisory service from investors.

Ansari’s YouTube Channel promised quick and huge returns. He also guided those who paid him for advice on real-time trades.

SEBI has acted against more than 15 unregistered investment advisors in the last one year with orders coming from all levels of Sebi officer
