Mumbai Police registers FIR against Ranveer Singh for obscenity and insulting women's modesty

The complaint was filed at the Chembur Police Station by a 50-year old Mumbai citizen, named Lalit Tekchandi, who runs an NGO called Shyam Mangaram Foundation

Ranveer posed completed nude in a photoshoot for a magzine.The complaint was lodged after Ranveer's nude pictures posted on Instagram went viral

Ranveer Singh has been booked under sections 292, 294 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860

As per the statement- "Actors in India are called Nayak and the people of India follow them. In some part of India, the people even worship them as God. By doing such acts , actors like Ranveer Singh try to get cheap publicity at the cost of sentiments of the people.

These kinds of acts should be opposed strongly, as it is not being opposed then struggling actors will also follow the same path for getting cheap publicity which will result in a worst society,"
